This pattern represents the caseless caddis fly that are free swimming until pupation. They live primarily on the bottom of river beds and are eagerly sought by predatory fish. Trout and Grayling feed heavily upon them, but as there are many coarse fish that feed on the bottom, I would expect that other species of fish will take them as well as Game fish.
The pattern is heavily weighted and tied on a shaped Kamasan hook in size 12. They have been tied by me exclusively for Challenge Flies.
The 3-fly set is contained in a cardboard box for safety in transit and postage is included in the price.
