The Adams is a traditional trout fly tied to a North American pattern which is representative of Duns on the surface. This variation has a white post which enables it to be seen on the water and a parachute hackle which helps it float. the white post is especially useful when fishing this pattern at dusk, when many small flies hatch. Even though this pattern is not a representation of caenis, it could be used in a caenis hatch.
This pattern is also available in size 14 please see separate listing).
