This traditional trout fly is tied to a North American pattern. It is an old established fly that is a representative of Duns on the surface. It is an attractive little fly with its upright wings easily seen as the fly drifts along with the current. It is generally regarded as an imitation of a medium olive and is equally successful on stillwater and rivers.
It is a favourite of fishermen/women and may well be found in fly boxes throughout the World.
