These flies are attractive to predatory fish like Trout and Perch. They have a green chenille body and bright green marabou tail with sparkle flash fibres in the tail. A green hackle is tied at the eye which sweeps over the body when the fly is retrieved. The body is slightly weighted and is designed to simulate a small coloured fish fry so could be fished on a long leader with a floating line or with an intermediate or sinking line.
The flies are tied on size 8 Quality Partridge hooks. The pattern has been designed and tied by John for Challenge Flies.
